The KKDAT Ilocandia Incorporated - Currimao Chapter held their Re-election activity at Currimao Sports Complex at 2:00 PM. The activity was attended by student leaders from Wilbur C. Go National High School and Currimao National High School. Before the election, the incumbent secretary of the organization shared a lecture on the deceptive recruitment process of the CPP-NPA-NDF. The SCAD PNCO of Currimao MPS also shared her insights regarding the topic. A new set of officers was elected under the leadership of the new President, kabsat Willie M. Asuncion. A total of 45 participants attended the activity.

In observance of the 2026 Ligtas SUMVAC of the PNP, the KKDAT organization conducted a leaflet distribution at the picnic areas within the municipality. The contents of the leaflets distributed are: KKDAT Advocacy, Ligtas SUMVAC, RA 9262 (VAWC), and RA 9165. This activity aims to raise awareness and guide the youth and community towards safety, discipline, and responsible living. A total of 95 leaflets were distributed during the activity.

After the distribution of leaflets about KKDAT, Ligtas SUMVAC, Republic Act No. 9262, and Republic Act No. 9165, the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo Ilocandia Inc. – Currimao Chapter headed to the coast of Subli-Subli Beach for a coastal clean-up drive. They started their initiatives from the said resort going to Gaang Bay, collecting plastics and other trash that were improperly thrown in different areas. This activity is still part of their Oplan KRUS under their project PUSO, which aims to promote discipline, cleanliness, and community responsibility among the youth. This is a beautiful initiative, especially because during Holy Week, Currimao receives many visitors.

During a follow-up mock activity, students shared key realizations and committed to making responsible, law-abiding life choices. Ultimately, the program empowered the youth to serve as proactive partners in maintaining societal peace and order.
